Job Description:
The Consulting Manager will be the key Axsium interface to the customer and will manage all resources being supplied by Axsium to effect a solid customer relationship, as well as, ensuring the successful completion of projects in an efficient, cost effective and quality driver manner.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Act as the front-line contact with client representatives on all project-related issues.
- Communicate regularly with the customer and Axsium resources assigned to ensure schedule and scope integrity.
- Anticipate, identify and escalate any project delivery risks
- Provide overall leadership and management of project resources including Axsium, client and third party resources.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction by building and maintaining a strong and reference-able customer relationship.
- Prepare project plans, staffing and skill requirements, milestones, budgets and project status reports
- Actively contribute to all project deliverables, as needed, including functional design documentation, system test cases, software application configurations and management consulting reports and recommendations
- Travel as required.
Must Have Skills:
- Minimum 4 years experience in Project Management , IT Consulting, Software Integration or IT Implementation Management
- Minimum 4 years experience in managing implementations of packaged Workforce Management or Human Capital Management Solutions (e.g. SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle, Kronos, Cybershift, Workbrain, Workforce Software, Timera, Blue Cube, Blue Pumpkin, JDA)
- Excellent project planning, budgeting, scheduling and resource management skills
- Experience in determining, documenting, and representing business requirements within a software development project
- Must have a proven track record of on time delivery and customer service
- Strong knowledge of Object-oriented Analysis And Design principals and/or the Rational Unified Process
- Working knowledge of databases, web applications and networking environments
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills.
- Effectively communicates and builds relationships with all levels of customer personnel
- Must be a self starter and effectively work under limited supervision
- University or college degree
- PMP or other professional designation will be considered an asset
