Analytics Consultant

Job Description:
As an Analytics Consultant you will play an integral part in providing strategic direction to clients on the implementation and customization of their workforce management strategy. In this role, you are involved in a wide range of activities and project phases including business process engineering, requirements gathering, system specification and documentation, testing strategy, implementation and support.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Understand and be able to articulate to clients the capabilities and limitations of Kronos Analytics software offerings, both Core and Industry-specific
- Work directly with the customer's project team to understand their business needs and translate those business needs into a systems design specification providing clients with a clear picture of how the solution will solve their unique business needs
- Participate in the full lifecycle of a project including, Business Analysis, Functional Specification, System Configuration, Design, Testing
- Research, document, install, configure, and test all functional and technical elements of Kronos Analytics, including, but not limited to: ETL, cubes, front-end software (e.g. SharePoint)
- Develop any needed custom web parts, dashboards, views, reports, and document libraries, etc., as required to meet client specifications
- Collaborate with the Technical Consultant and other project team members to ensure the functional specifications identified have been met
- Develop and deliver client-specific Kronos Analytics training for both technical and functional users
- Provide SME support, when required, to the sales team in prospecting and lead generation
Requirements:
- Experience providing strategic direction, implementing and/or supporting Kronos Analytics solutions, ideally in multiple verticals (e.g. Retail, Health Care, Manufacturing)
- Ability to educate and communicate applicable functions and/or limitations of Kronos Analytics to colleagues and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of Kronos WFC solutions (e.g. Workforce Timekeeper, Workforce Scheduler, Workforce Forecaster) and how they relate to Kronos Analytics
- Experience with industry-standard database administration tools, such as SQL queries
- Project experience working on Software Integration or IT Implementations participating in multiple phases of the project life cycle
- Proven ability to analyze, document and communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical parties
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including J2EE and relational databases
- Experience in the implementation of non-Kronos packaged Workforce Management or Human Capital Management Solutions (e.g. Workbrain, Cybershift, Workforce Software,) is not required but will be considered a strong asset
- Must be a self-starter and effectively work under limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
- University or college degree
- Ability to travel up to 75%
