Job Description:

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Conduct on-site assessments of the quality of present corporate labor models regarding time measurement, application of corporate data, condition of customer facing activities, and integration needs of WFM software
  • Facilitate workshops and fact gathering interviews to define client processes
  • Lead fellow IE’s and client resources in capturing usable observations/video of processes
  • Foster positive client relationships and work in client and fellow consultant teams
  • Convert observations/video to usable labor standards using pre-determined time systems
  • Develop applicable labor standards using work sampling and direct observation
  • Develop process improvement suggestions for client tasks and processes
  • Work side by side with client to validate accuracy of developed standards
  • Integrate engineered labor standards directly into third party WFM systems
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and employee playbooks based on optimal processes

 

Must have skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Minimum 1 year labor model consulting experience advising manufacturing and Retail customers
  • Experience in time study, work measurement, work sampling and labor standards in retail and/or manufacturing
  • Experience using a predetermined time system utilizing MTM, such as EASE , MOST or Standards Pro
  • Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Minimum 1 year experience using simulation software a plus
  • Ability to conduct 5S projects
  • Proven skills in analyzing, designing and implementing complex solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Experience working with clients in Europe, Global experience is an asset
  • Database experience; SQL and Access.
  • Willing to travel 50-75%
