Job Description

At Axsium, an Associate Consultant is a developmental role where the incumbent is either new to Workforce Management and/or Consulting.  As an Associate Consultant, you will be provided with the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge both in Workforce Management and Consulting.  As an Associate Consultant, you will be integral in the install, build and test phases of the Axsium implementation life cycle.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Learn and contribute to the full, end to end WFM workflow
  • Learn and contribute to the full, end to end project lifecycle
  • Understand and use Axsium templates and methodology
  • Draft detailed requirements for review
  • Work with Consultants to translate design documentation into effective application configuration and implement within the solution
  • With direction, execute test scenarios within solution
  • Create and/or collaborate on client facing presentations
  • Support discussions and workshops with the client
  • Ability to navigate difficult situations in a calm and structured way and seek help if required
  • Understand, adapt and act within the client’s organization and culture
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project documentation and other deliverables
  • Learn about Axsium products (e.g. Opus, Change Management); and be able to identify associated client opportunities

Internal Culture and Administration

  • Ambassador for Axsium culture – presentation, commitment, integrity
  • Timely and accurate submission of Time and Expense Reports
  • Proactively provide notification of availability
  • Share knowledge across Axsium via use of ASK, etc.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project documentation and other deliverables

Requirements

  • University or college degree
  • Good analytical and problem- solving skills – experience of MS Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Works well as part of a team or on their own with minimal supervision
  • Deadline driven, confident, open to taking initiative, ability to multi-task
  • WFM consulting experience preferred
  • Experience developing and executing workforce management, labor productivity or HCM implementations strategies preferred
  • Experience working with workforce management technologies including but not limited to labor forecasting, schedule optimization, timekeeping, budgeting, and task management preferred
  • Familiarity with new technologies
  • Experience working with ERP and/or Workforce Management Software vendors preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
