Work Sampling

Work sampling is a method of collecting data on employee activity to help retailers understand how employees allocate their time between customer service, work talk, re-shelving, administrative tasks, breaks, and idle/unproductive time, among others. Retailers can use work sampling to analyze how employees spend their time and make improvements where necessary.

Studia is a tool that helps to automate work sampling by using live observations of real employee behavior to collect data through a handheld device. The output of this observation is a representative sampling of how your staff members really spend their time.
